Bridal shower checklist

Wedding planning can get very overwhelming for the bride. From the dresses to the vendors, arranging a wedding can drain an individual’s entire energy. That is when a bridal shower comes in!

Is your best friend getting married? Well, you need to start planning a bridal shower that can help her take her mind off of all the wedding planning fuss and enjoy a fun day with her girl-friends

Ready to plan a bridal shower that would blow your best girl’s mind? Here is a handy checklist that will help you align your efforts and preparations with the set date!

Set a Date

The first on the checklist is to set a date. You need to make sure that the date is suitable for the bride and all her close friends and family members.

Three Months Before the Event

Discuss it with the Bride-to-Be

For a flawless event, you need to start preparing three months before the date. Start discussing it with the bride-to-be as it is her special day; you need to align your preparations with the wishes of the bride.

Set a Budget

Get in contact with all the bridesmaids and set a budget. Make sure that you set a reasonable budget that is affordable by all.

Prepare a Guest List

Before you finalize a venue, make sure you have the complete guest list in your hand. The number of guests will help you choose an appropriate venue for the event.

Select a Venue

Decide whether you want to plan the event in your home or an outdoor location. Look for affordable bridal shower venues that the bride-to-be will love. Make the reservations as soon as you can. A last-minute venue search can get very stressful.

Two Months Before the Event

Decide a Theme

Have a meeting with the bridesmaids and decide on a theme. You will have to shop for clothes and even set the menu based on the theme you choose.

Send Save-the-Date E-mails

Send save-the-date e-mails two months before the event so that important guests can make time for the event from their busy schedules.

Prepare Bridal Shower Invites

Shop for the materials and make invites if you want to get creative. You can even purchase ready-made bridal shower invites.

One Month Before the Event

Plan the Menu and Place Order

Decide on the menu and place orders. It is an important step because arranging food at the last-minute can become troublesome.

Send the Invites

Start sending all the invites and make sure you do not miss out on anyone from the guest list.

Go Shopping

Shop for dresses according to the theme with the bridesmaids and help the bride-to-be find that perfect bridal shower dress.

Purchase Favors

Decide the party favors, purchase, and assemble them to avoid any last-minute problems.

When there is just a week left for the event, make sure to confirm all reservations and check with all vendors. You do not want any on-day hassle, as this can completely ruin the event!
