Your Ultimate Guide To Cleansing + How To Pick The Best One For You

Your body should be your top priority if you aim for a healthy living style. Eating healthy and exercising daily is not enough. Your skin also needs some pampering. And when it comes to skincare, the foremost thing to do is to keep it clean. Also, taking care of your skin reflects self-love and self-care, which is the most positive thing one can do. So, here is a guide to cleansing and picking the methods that are best suitable for you.

Different Types Of Cleanser

Cleansers can significantly change the skin texture. Therefore, it’s important to know the types of cleansers that are available. It is similar to cleaning your teeth. There are different types of toothpaste available for sensitive to not-so-sensitive teeth. Likewise, your skin is also sensitive, oily, dry, and more.

Currently, there are five types of cleansers available. Gaining knowledge on each one of them is crucial to figuring out the cleanser that will work for you. These five cleansers are:

  • Gel Cleansers
  • Milk Cleansers
  • Oil Cleansers
  • Cream Cleansers
  • Foam Cleanser

Choose The One That Is Best For You According To Your Skin Type

Gel Cleansers For Skin Type- Combination, Normal, Oily, & Acne-Prone

Gel cleansers are water-based. Thus, these cleansers are suitable for oily, combination or normal skin. They usually aim to decrease the clogged pores and remove the skin’s excess oil. However, keep in mind that if your skin feels tight or dry after using the gel cleanser, then you should not use it any further.

Milk Cleansers For Skin Type- Dry, Sensitive, Normal, & Aging Skin

Milk cleansers are usually a mix of fats and water. While using a milk cleanser, you won’t feel any type of foam. Instead, the cleanser will dissolve in your skin and clean it thoroughly. These cleansers are effective in removing the dirt that is deep down in your skin.

Oil Cleansers For Skin Type- Dry, Sensitive, & Eczema

Initially, oil cleansers were only used to remove makeup completely from your skin. But, gradually, it has proven to be fruitful for people who have dry skin. Moreover, it is a cleanser, so it will wash away when you wash it off with water. Therefore, it will not cause an imbalance in oil production as well. You can also use this cleanser before using the cleanser that is suitable for your skin type.

Most of the time, dermatologists restrict people from using any cleansers who have eczema. Nonetheless, people with Eczema can use this cleanser as it is oil-based. However, before proceeding with it, ask your dermatologist first.

Cream Cleansers For Skin Type-  Dry, Sensitive, & Aging Skin

Dry, sensitive or aging skin has one thing in common: the need for moisturizer. Cream-based cleansers are thick that have moisturizing agents. Also, cream-based cleansers do not form any type of foam and thus will not dry your skin in any way.

Most of the cream-based cleansers just require you to use a cotton ball to wipe it off instead of washing it off with water.

Foam Cleansers For Skin Type- Oily Or Acne-Prone Skin

Foam cleansers do wonders for people who have oily or acne-prone skin. Many people believe that they might be too harsh on your skin. It is true for people who have dry skin, as foam cleaners can dry their skin even more. So, use this cleanser only if you have oily skin.

Conclusion

Now that you know which cleanser will be suitable for you, you can buy ultra cleanse online too. All you need is just visit the website and choose the one that is best for your skin condition. But, before buying any cleanser, make sure to not go for the ones that are not suitable for you.
